The Homac Companies, a leading supplier of connectors to the utility industry, has contracted The Richmond Information Group, Ltd. to support their implementation of BPCS v8.1 during the first quarter of 2004. Homac hopes to improve their manufacturing control, forecasting, cost and financial accounting and material management. Valeo had a need for IBM iSeries, also known as the AS/400 and IBM Midrange server, programming and consulting. Southeastern Mills, Inc. has successfully implemented BPCS version 8.2.01 in all of its operating divisions.
For the Southeastern Mills division this was an upgrade from BPCS version 6.02. For the Milner Milling and Pendleton Mills divisions this was a full implementation from custom legacy systems.
